Teachers Day 2020.

Teachers Day 2020 was an event headed by the Hai Sing Catholic EXCOS, An event which i had shared the role of Overall I/C with Sarah  ( seen in picture 4 beside me ). Teachers Day was an event often sought after from students as it is renounced for it's enjoyable events, Live performances from fellow schoolmates, class parties and much much more fun filled activities. 

However in 2020, covid 19 had made all our initial plans redundant. It was crushing but I saw it as an opportunity. An opportunity to not only celebrate teachers for their contributions, but for all to shed a wide smile despite the difficult times. So we set to work, delegating roles and maximising all councillors available to us. With such short notice and many measures to follow, we pulled through. Using the internet, we kept the adored live performances from schoolmates and added a new form of pre recorded skits, performed by teachers and students, an interview segment hosted by me to find out more about our teachers and a unique lucky draw with a mix of prizes prepared by students and sponsored gifts from the school's administrative staffs wanting to pay back to the teachers aswell. 

The highlight of the event was the personal mask containers, prepared for each teacher and staff, given out to each teacher as a memorabilia and a token of appreciation from the 2020 Planning Committee
